This Bishops Stortford sitting room had a beautiful bay window that deserved more than a standard radiator cover and a lonely armchair.
We designed a built-in window seat spanning the full width of the bay, with lift-up lids for concealed storage and a hinged panel for access to the radiator.
Painted cabinetry, an oak seat board, and bespoke cushions create a reading nook that has become the most popular spot in the house.
