Terms & conditions
Last updated: July 2026
These terms apply when you use our website or engage Hertfordshire Joinery for bespoke joinery, fitted furniture, and installation services.
Our services
We provide bespoke joinery design, handmade fitted furniture, and installation services tailored to each client. The scope, timing, and quotation are agreed with you before services begin.
Consultations and projects
Joinery consultations and site visits are arranged by appointment. Please provide accurate contact details and reasonable access to your home at the agreed time.
If you need to reschedule, we ask for as much notice as possible so we can adjust our programme accordingly.
Quotations and payment
Joinery projects are quoted individually based on design, materials, and scope. We will confirm your quotation, payment stages, and any variations before work commences.
Payment terms will be agreed with you in writing in advance of manufacture or installation.
Access and safety
You are responsible for ensuring our team and any coordinated trades can work safely in your home and that any hazards are disclosed in advance. We reserve the right to pause or decline work where conditions are unsafe.
Liability
We take great care in private homes and maintain appropriate insurance. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law.
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Website use
Content on this website is provided for general information. We may update pages from time to time and do not guarantee the site will always be available without interruption.
Governing law
